Dear Valued Customer,

             It has come to the attention of M C Bank and Trust Co. that there has been a security breach at the payment processor Heartland Payment Systems, a company that delivers credit/debit/prepaid card processing, payroll, check management and payment solutions to more than 250,000 business locations nationwide.  As a direct result of the security breach, people who have had payments processed by this company during 2008 may have had their debit card numbers compromised.  If you would like to read the press release by Heartland Payment Systems, click here.

             M C Bank and Trust Company was not compromised in any way, nor was M C Bank and Trust Company’s card processor.  This incident was completely out of the control of M C Bank and Trust Company.
